This service provides a turnkey all-in-one subscription-based solution which includes the provision of integrated backup software, on-site backup appliance as well as linked cloud-based backup, supporting physical, virtual, and multi-site environments.
Key Features of Appliance Backup with Cloud
- Data Backup – File and folder backup for servers, desktops, laptops
- Image and File Replication – Replication of files, folders and server images to a secondary appliance, our linked cloud, or AWS S3
- Physical and Virtual Machines – Enable server-level protection for applications served by physical machines as well as VMs from either VMware and Hyper-V virtual environments
- Cloud Boot – Spin up replicated VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V virtual machines in our linked cloud, and configure them to be accessed directly from the cloud for a period of up to 30 days after a disaster (some flexibility in exceptional circumstances). This ensures the client can continue working while making necessary arrangements to recover their on-site environments
- Rapid AWS Recovery – Customers replicating to AWS have the option to restore backed-up virtualized systems directly to their own AWS EC2 compute environment
- Granular SharePoint Recovery with Kroll Ontrack – Granular file search and recovery, where the client is in possession of an active Kroll Ontrack license
- Cloud-to-Cloud Backup (Optional Add-on Service) – Stand-alone add-on subscription feature for direct-to-cloud backup that protects Microsoft Office 365 environments, including Exchange Online mailboxes, OneDrive for Business files, and SharePoint Online
- Disaster Recovery Service – Preloads most recent data and configuration settings onto a replacement unit in the event of on-site appliance failure
- Replacement unit will incur shipping, handling and setup fees
- Hardware Refresh Service – Option to refresh appliance hardware every five years
